Peniel Receives Grant From Community Foundation For The Alleghenies For Treatment Scholarships

Johnstown, PA (May 18, 2023) – Peniel Residential Drug/Alcohol Treatment Center is pleased to have received a $3,500 grant from the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies (https://www.cfalleghenies.org/). This grant will benefit the Peniel Scholarship Fund and will contribute to providing effective substance use treatment for someone in need from Bedford, Cambria, or Somerset counties.

Substance use disorder and its contributing factors continue to present a pressing concern for our region. The Peniel program equips clients with the tools necessary to effectively overcome addiction and achieve lasting change. Successful Peniel graduates are prepared to pursue lives of sobriety, integrity and purpose.
