As a new exciting year begins to take shape, we are reminded of the faithfulness of God through every chapter of life. Last year, we introduced the Marion Spellman Founder’s Fund to honor Peniel’s beloved founder, Dr. Marion Spellman. Thanks to the incredible generosity of so many, we have been able to uphold her legacy of offering the life-saving, faith-based treatment that brings lasting change to broken lives. This important and recurring drive allows us to address operational costs and keep the ministry running strong year after year.

This winter with its harsh weather conditions has caused our utility expenses to spike, along with other essential costs of operation. Your support would immediately help address the urgent challenges brought on by the harsh winter conditions especially the need to complete the third and final phase of our roof repair. Your partnership during this critical time helps us to meet these challenges while continuing to serve individuals and families in need of transformation and healing.

It is important to note that the Marion Spellman Founder’s Fund is not an endowment, but rather funds are immediately allocated to the front lines of treatment, ensuring that Peniel remains a place of healing and hope. Every dollar raised is put to work right away, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care and that our dedicated staff are equipped to carry out this vital ministry.

I would like to share the story of one young lady, a Peniel graduate and beneficiary of our Women and Children’s Program. Previously caught in the grip of addiction, she found freedom and transformation at Peniel. Today, she not only remains sober but has also chosen to stay on as a volunteer, while raising her two young boys. Her journey is a powerful testimony to the life-changing work that God does through Peniel. Your contributions make stories like hers possible!
